It’s becoming increasingly difficult to keep track of all the releases by David Guetta. While we’re still vibing to Raving with Afrojack, which was presented at Tomorrowland and released a few weeks later, there’s already a new potential hit on the horizon.
This time, it’s a pop-dance track featuring Clean Bandit, so we can already expect strings, melodies, and the soothing voice of Anne-Marie. Combine all that with the dance vibes of the world’s #1 DJ, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for a summer hit. The track is called ‘Cry Baby‘, and David Guetta has put his signature on it. According to a video he shared on Instagram, it took four years to bring this song to life.
Given the sheer number of releases from the French DJ, it’s doubtful that it took all this time to complete the track. More likely, the idea has been in the drawer for a long time. Guetta also mentioned that he’s a fan of Clean Bandit’s sound (and mood, we might add), and he’s very pleased with how Cry Baby turned out.
This could well be yet another hit of 2024 from the French DJ. In the meantime, we’re looking forward to some remixes and are still eagerly awaiting his collaboration with Alesso, which we talked about here.
