Steve Angello plays unreleased music by SHM at Coachella 2024 • EDM Lab

During Steve Angello’s DJ set at the Sahara Tent of Coachella 2024, there was the presentation of a new album by Swedish House Mafia.

While we’re still celebrating the 2 years of Paradise Again, the latest true studio album by Swedish House Mafia, we are awaiting new music. The three Swedes are meanwhile traveling around the world, even as duos or solo acts, and it’s the case of Steve Angello who has recently performed at Coachella 2024 with a spectacular DJ set at the Sahara Tent.

Closing the performance, Angello says that “he doesn’t feel complete without being able to play an unreleased song,” and so here comes the ID. The track bearing the working title ‘Lioness‘ has the perfect modern style of Swedish House Mafia, with vocals that stick in your head and the usual highly sought-after sounds. As of today, there is no news on the release date of ‘Lioness‘.

Meanwhile, just to keep it in mind, Steve Angello himself at last year’s Tomorrowland 2023, had announced that a new album or EP would arrive by the end of the summer (we talked about it here), and this has not happened.
