A new posthumous album by Avicii has just been released. As widely reported on our website, the album features the greatest hits by the legendary producer Tim Bergling, along with a brand-new track.
While we’re still enjoying this new release, including the first remix by MEDUZA, which we featured in episode #307 of our radio show, new rumors about an upcoming release are spreading online. What are we talking about?
We need to go back to 2011 to understand it. By digging into Avicii’s early DJ sets, you may remember a track that was never officially released, an ID track. The song, which was supposed to be titled “Enough is Enough (Don’t Give Up On Us)”, is a collaboration with NERVO. It gives us a taste of the sound that would soon make Avicii a true legend of dance music.
This track was never officially released, but in 2021, about 10 years after its creation, the NERVO sisters expressed their wish to release it. However, for obvious reasons and due to a possible lack of approval from Tim’s family, the track stayed unreleased.
In a recent comment on Instagram, the NERVO duo brought new hype to this unreleased track, saying it might finally be released soon!
And we can’t wait!
Fun Fact: In this video from Tomorrowland 2011, not only can you hear the track, but you might also spot a very young Nora En Pure in the crowd!
