The announcement was made during a special Spotify event organised for Amsterdam Dance Event. Some of Garrix’s most dedicated fans had the chance to preview several unreleased tracks.

The event became even more distinctive thanks to a procession of yellow balloons that travelled through the streets of Amsterdam during ADE.

MARTY will feature 14 tracks and mark a new artistic chapter for Martin Garrix. His goal is to explore a more pop-oriented sound while staying true to his musical identity.

The project will also give greater space to his voice, as we have already heard on his recent single This Dream Of You.

Among the collaborations already announced are major names such as U2, Ed Sheeran and Madonna. However, fans can reasonably expect more surprises before the album arrives in March 2027.

The title MARTY pays tribute to the artist’s roots and his first DJ alias, DJ Marty. At the time, he dreamed of taking his music around the world.

It is no coincidence that small murals dedicated to him have appeared on the streets of Amsterdam in recent days, including the one shown in the photo.

The new album will tell Garrix’s personal and professional story, from childhood to international success. Across 14 tracks, it will unfold as a musical journey through growth, love and change.

Ultimately, the project promises to reveal a more intimate and personal side of one of the most influential artists in global electronic music.
