The new year opens up with the smiley faces of Martin Garrix and Third Party together in their studio. Something is happening, and the Gods of Progressive might be working on something epic.
We do not have too many details about this collaboration, but the photo’s capture states that they are “Finalizing Something New,” which we hope is a new Progressive record or it might be something totally different.
A song is played repeatedly for a few years in Garrix’s and Third Party’s DJ sets, whose working title is “Flashlights.” For such an ID track, there is never been a release date. This might be a hint since many of us are waiting for it.
In 2023, Martin Garrix released only one Progressive song, i.e., Hurricane with Bonn and Sentinel (which you can also listen to at the 7th position of our Top 10 Chart 2023). Also, Third Party delighted us with “Keep On Loving You” and “Three Chords” in 2023. Their last mutual collaboration, “Lions In The Wild,” dates back to 2016.
Not even a snippet of the presumed new collaboration has been released on social media platforms. Thus, we can only wait and see.
EDIT: a few hours ago this video appeared on Third Party’s social profiles in which the song is played during a gig and also seems to have a new vocal.
