Do you remember the Symphony of Unity, the orchestral project born from Tomorrowland’s creative vision?
Earlier this year, around the beginning of April, we featured the release of the Symphony of Unity’s first album in our Best of Today #Release. The album includes some of the greatest anthems from the EDM era, reimagined through orchestral arrangements. The latest news is that the album will finally be available on vinyl and CD.
The album features new orchestral interpretations of several electronic music classics, including “Insomnia” by Faithless, “Universal Nation” by Push, “Mammoth” by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and MOGUAI, and “In My Mind” by Ivan Gough, Feenixpawl, Georgi Kay and Axwell.
Led by conductor Kevin Houben and featuring around 50 musicians, the Symphony of Unity combines the energy of electronic music with the elegance of classical music. The project, which was born in 2015 during Tomorrowland’s Secret Kingdom of Melodia edition, has evolved over the years into an international show, performing across Belgium, Amsterdam, Dubai, Las Vegas and Brazil. In just a few weeks, it will also arrive in Italy.
The project recently also introduced Horizon, its new and ambitious show, on Tomorrowland’s Freedom Stage. The vinyl and CD editions of Orchestral Selection I are available through the Tomorrowland Store.
