Apple Music Integrates with AlphaTheta CDJ-3000X

Apple Music has announced a new integration with the CDJ-3000X, the next-generation media player developed by AlphaTheta.

In short, with this update, DJs subscribed to Apple Music can now access more than 100 million tracks and the platform’s latest playlists directly, without the need for physical media.

The new StreamingDirectPlay system, together with CloudDirectPlay, allows music to be streamed directly from the CDJ-3000X. Authentication is fast and intuitive: simply hold a smartphone connected to Apple Music via rekordbox (iOS or Android) over the NFC area located on the front panel of the device.

The CDJ-3000X, the latest addition from AlphaTheta, builds on the legacy of the historic CDJ series, enhancing precision, speed, and responsiveness. The 10.1-inch touch display ensures excellent visibility and smooth track navigation, allowing DJs and enthusiasts to search, preview, and select cloud-based tracks in real time.

This integration further strengthens the DJ with Apple Music ecosystem, already compatible with software and platforms such as djay Pro, Serato, and Engine DJ. Curated playlists, dedicated guides, and exclusive mixes are also available to support DJs, confirming Apple Music’s ongoing commitment to the global club and electronic music culture, as we previously highlighted in articles like this one.
