The beginning of 2023 is rich in musical news for Oliver Heldens. He divides himself between his underground side HI-LO and something more radio-friendly with the new single “Oops.”
As Future-House master, the Dutch producer chose a sample from “Situation” by Yazoo (1982) to refresh his music equation. The track is sung by Karen Harding, the British artist collecting prestigious collaborations with Royksopp, Giorgio Moroder, and Galantis.
There is an interesting fact about credits. We notice that a part of revenue will be destined to the authors of “Oops!… I Did It Again” by Britney Spears, despite a unique common phrase in the lyrics, re-sung by Karen Harding.
