In the EDM world, it’s time for music charts. The results of the Top101Producer by 1001tracklists.com are available now.
Last year, Oliver Heldens had reached the top (we talked about it here). This chart shows the most supported tracks from 1 October 2020 to 30 September 2021.
If many DJs played a track during their performances in festivals, radio shows, and events, the producer of this track will climb the chart.
The Brazilian DJ/Producer Vintage Culture won the 2021 Top101producer chart. EDM Lab is not surprised. Often, we supported Lukas during our radio shows. For us he is one of the best producers of recent years. His avant-garde and revolutionary sound has gained him many epic collaborations with Tiesto, Fancy Inc, and Alok. Moreover, he remixed tracks by Bob Sinclar, Sofi Tukker, and Rufus Do Sol. Vintage Culture refreshed the sound of recent years, so he deserves the podium.
Then, David Guetta gained the second place. He is the pioneer of Future Rave (did you listen our Future Rave playlist?). He also is the #1 DJ in the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2020. Kryder gained the third place. His unique style always receives many supports.
You can notice that the chart is composed by many “club DJs” and less “festival DJs.” This is definitely important to predict the sound of the future.
