“Wasted Love” is the newest track by the French duo, Ofenbach. Their 2020 was soft because their only single released, “Head Shoulders Knees & Toes,” did quite well in France and Germany. This time they collaborate with the newcomer Lagique which pays off their confidence with a catchy, and vaguely melancholic, vocal. The influence of the current Slap-House sound is evident, but the Parisians, aiming to the high positions of the charts, could not make it without it. Also, the length of “Wasted Love,” a little more than two minutes, is in line with this purpose. It will make the track go well on Spotify.
