Today we bring you another of the EDM Lab‘s charts. While compiling the Top 10 EDM tracks most played on Spotify, we asked ourselves: what are the numbers of EDM on YouTube? This question made us create our YouTube’s One Billion Views Top 10.
Comparing the two portals, we found that the number of views totaled on YouTube by artists like Major Lazer or The Chainsmokers is very similar to the number of streams totaled on Spotify. Had we relied on the higher numbers this time around, the two music selections would have been nearly identical.
So, to bring you another exclusive content, we have compiled a completely different ranking from the previous one. The only common point between the two Top 10: the selected tracks have reached and exceeded one billion streams/views.
