#Release | David Guetta & Armin Van Buuren – In The Dark

After the preview a few weeks ago, the long-awaited first collaboration between two EDM giants, David Guetta and Armin Van Buuren, is finally out. Here it is, titled “In The Dark“.

Premiered exclusively during the second-ever b2b between these two heavyweights in electronic music, it has generated a lot of hype in recent weeks. Snippets and teasers have trickled out on the artists’ social media, but now the track is officially released, and we can reveal that it features American artist Aldae. He is a songwriter who has already made a mark in the Pop and Dance world, having written for many well-known names and winning 2 Grammys.

in the dark‘In The Dark’ was conceived during a studio session in Los Angeles but, as we mentioned in our #premiere article, it was completed just before the latest b2b at Ushuaia Ibiza between Armin and Guetta. After that, they decided to test it live.

David Guetta: “We come from different musical paths, but our passion brings us together!” Exactly. Two completely different worlds, yet part of the same musical vein.

On one side, the king of trance; on the other, the master of incredible shows, the best remakes, and the hits that have made us dance for the past 20 years. And let’s not forget the “one track a week” saga, mainly for Guetta but sometimes for Armin too. “In The Dark” is a simple track, with a catchy drop that’s not too heavy, making it a great radio and summer tune.

Armin van Buuren expressed his excitement about this track, saying: “David and I have been great friends for years, and we’ve always talked about working together. ‘In The Dark’ is a special blend of our styles, and I hope listeners can feel the admiration we have for each other’s work. This track also wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible Aldae, whose talents as a songwriter and vocalist are unrivaled.”

Both DJs are now ready to test “In The Dark” on the world’s best stage, Tomorrowland 2024.
