Do you remember Kygo’s signature sound? The one that made us fall in love with him ten years ago? Well, in the new single, you can clearly feel the desire to return to that original direction, and it seems that Kygo has pulled it off perfectly.
It’s called Save My Love, and it’s a stunning collaboration with Khalid (and his incredible, unmistakable voice) and Gryffin. Three heavy hitters for a track that feels very 2016, yet sounds modern. It’s simple, radio-friendly, smooth and, as the English would say, ‘lovely‘. The record arrives after a reset moment, at least when it comes to the Norwegian DJ’s social media. In fact, for the past few weeks on his Instagram account, which boasts 5.4 million followers worldwide, there’s nothing left except an image of a palm tree rotating on itself with a very short preview of the track.
With Save My Love, seems that Kygo intends to start a new chapter in his life. And who knows, he might even be working on a new album, considering the last one dates back to 2024. In the meantime, Kygo delights us with this collaboration, bringing back the flavor of classic radio Dance, slightly refreshed for today.
