DJ, producer, and actor Dimitri Vegas has recently released his piece Don’t Stop The Music, which we played in our Best of Today #Release #266. We really liked the song, but we also wondered what another great actor was doing in it. Of course, we are talking about Vin Diesel.
Here, with his alias, “Vin,” together with Dimitri Vegas and the rapper Zion, he has lent his voice, actually a big voice, for samples that well fit this Don’t Stop The Music. Returning to Dimitri Vegas, he is not new to this role-playing role. He has made many appearances on European TV and in movies such as “Gangsta” by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, “Lukas” with Jean-Claude Van Damme, and “Rambo V” with Sylvester Stallone. Furthermore, he has performed as Spider-Man in the Dutch version of the movie “Spider-Verse.” Recently, he obtained his first role in the European movie “H4Z4RD,” which will be released in American theaters and on the Tubi platform in 2024.
Well, if Vin Diesel might have started his music journey with this collaboration, Dimitri Vegas started his acting career a while ago. Back to the song, the most careful might have noticed similarities with another piece. The song, indeed, is inspired by Talamanca by BURNS, released in 2021. However, we like this version more as it could become a good summer banger.
