The festival season has been underway for a few months now, which means it’s already time to crown the world’s 100 best dance music festivals. As always, this ranking is compiled by DJ Mag based on votes from fans around the globe. Here it is: the Top 100 Festivals 2026.

With few surprises, despite everything that happened last year, Tomorrowland once again claims the top spot, earning the #1 position for the fifth time overall and the fourth consecutive year. Ultra Music Festival Miami, on the other hand, drops two places despite its outstanding 2026 edition, which we covered extensively. The festival falls off the podium, making room for EDC Las Vegas (#2) and Untold Festival (#3).
Ultra still has plenty to celebrate, though. Thanks to its Ultra Worldwide brand, featuring dozens of Ultra Music Festival events across the globe, the organization places an impressive eight editions in the Top 100 Festivals 2026, with at least one festival represented on every continent. That’s no small achievement.
Looking at the rest of the Top 10, Defqon.1 holds the fifth spot as one of the undisputed icons of Hard Dance. Sunburn (#6) and Creamfields (#7) both climb two positions, pushing Kappa FuturFestival and Glastonbury down to #8 and #9, respectively. Rounding out the Top 10 is PAROOKAVILLE, which jumps an impressive eight spots.

Just outside the Top 10 is Coachella, which, despite its massive global popularity, lands in 12th place this year. The next Italian festival on the list is Panorama in Puglia, coming in at #36. Meanwhile, Italy’s other major festival, Nameless Festival, suffers one of the biggest drops of the year, falling 29 places to #80.
