Among the DJ Mag official charts, since 2019, has been added the DJ Mag Top50 Festivals, now renamed DJ Mag Top100 Festivals.
As the name says, it is the chart of the best 100 festivals worldwide. The poll of 2022 took place from the 5th to the 26th of October, collecting over 100,000 votes.
Another time, the winner is Tomorrowland Belgium. Ultra Music Festival of Miami is number two, and EDC Las Vegas is number three. A well-deserved podium.
Tomorrowland is located in the Provinciaal Recreatiedomein De Schorre park of Boom, in Belgium, and was born in 2005. Since that far summer, the festival has grown enormously. After suffering a lot during the pandemic, the latest edition added another weekend to its schedule, extending the show for three consecutive weekends, from the middle to the end of July. “The Reflection of Love” was the latest edition. It was incredible, with over 600,000 attendances from 200 countries.
Michiel Beers, the founder of Tomorrowland, said: “At the end of 2022 turned out to be such a beautiful year, with so many unforgettable moments. We are very grateful for all the love and all the support we received in every way. We could never have done this on our own.”
You can see the full DJ Mag Top100 Festivals 2022 below. There are also four Italian festivals: the Kappa FuturFestival is number twelve, the Nameless Music Festival is number forty-seven, the Panorama Festival is number sixty-two, and the Sunandbass is number eighty-eight.
