The popular vote to determine the list of the 100 most important and beautiful music festivals in the world has recently closed. As we documented in our article, this year the bet was focused on the podium, which has been held for many years by the quintessential Belgian festival, Tomorrowland.

Bet lost. Once again, it is the festival of dreams and fairy tales (as well as music) that takes home the coveted trophy offered by DJ Mag. The Belgian festival, in the collective imagination of those who have experienced it at least once and those who have not, remains the favorite, the most popular.

The one where everyone wants or would like to go at least once in their life.

There is a sharp change in the top three positions. In particular for the Ultra Music Festival (Miami) which, probably after the disasters of the 2024 edition, loses 2 positions and slips to fourth place. All in favor of Las Vegas’ incredible festival “EDC”, which has become the preferred destination in American territory. Europe still dominates with Untold (Romania) and within the top ten, we also find Kappa Futur Festival, Creamfields, Glastonbury, Exit, and World Club Dome. This indicates that Europe is the leader, at least when it comes to EDM festivals.
