The World’s Leading DJ Tracklist Database platform ‘1001Tracklists’ has published their annual ‘A State Of Dance Music’ report, providing a detailed look at the data behind the biggest sets and most played electronic music tracks in 2022.
The report, which lists the top elements in a multitude of electronic music categories for their performance last year – including top tracks, artists, and most-streamed sets, the most popular record labels (Spinnin’ Records takes the gold, Musical Freedom Records the silver, and Revealed Recordings gets the bronze), “top 50” ranks categorised by music genres and the leading radio shows in electronic music, features a ranking of the top 200 tracks that are frequently included in sets by DJs whose set tracklists were added to 1001Tracklists. In 1001tracklists report, the most popular genre among the tracks that DJs supported on the platform in 2022 is tech house with 21%, followed by dance at 19%, trance at 11%, bass house at 11% and house at 10%.
