Among the many great initiatives of January, as per tradition, there is also Shazam Fast Forward, which reaches its 2026 edition. But what is it exactly?
Every day Shazam receives millions of requests from users all over the world, curious to discover who is behind a song. These searches come from the most diverse contexts, from TikTok videos to commercials, as well as tracks overheard by chance in the street, making Shazam an extremely effective tool for predicting tomorrow’s rising stars.
For 2026, a dedicated playlist has therefore been created, featuring over 60 artists, selected based on Shazam data and reviewed by the editorial team. Of course, don’t expect to find only top-tier names, but rather the opportunity to discover something, or rather someone, new and truly talented.

In short, the selection represents an extremely diverse sonic mosaic, with artists coming from every corner of the globe, including Norway, Cuba, and India, and delivering sounds that range across genres such as música mexicana, French pop, and Afrobeats.
