Martin Garrix wins DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2022

DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs poll was unveiled last Thursday, 27th October, via a full social media countdown across DJ Mag’s Instagram and Twitter pages, a live countdown, plus an extraordinary virtual event featuring exclusive performances from The World’s No.1 DJ winner Martin Garrix and feature from six award-winning DJs from unique and breathtaking locations across six continents.

And this year’s winner, at No. 1, congratulations to Martin Garrix, crowned by DJ Mag. Taking over from the reign of the pioneer of the Future Rave movement David Guetta, Garrix has returned to the top spot since 2018. This news was Announcing via a special show anchored in Ibiza by BBC Radio One DJ Arielle Free, with performances which brought in the likes of The World’s No.1 DJ, Charlotte De Witte (The World’s No.1 Techno DJ), ALOK (Latin America’s No.1 DJ), BEAUZ (China’s No.1 DJ) and winners of the Future Star – Layla Benitez and Lifetime Achievement awards for DJ PAULETTE.

But there are plenty more impressive jumps, including CAT DEALERSFISHER, and more. It’s exciting to see all the strong newcomers — TOPIC, Reinier Zonneveld, ACRAZE and returns from World-class artist HardwellSwedish House Mafia, SOLOMUN, Lucas and Steve, and many more.

DJ Mag received just under 1.3 million votes from 234 countries in the world’s biggest music poll, with a breaking total celebrating DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs Awards 2022.
