The year 2021 for Oliver Heldens starts full of news: a few days ago, the Dutch producer and DJ shared his version of the track Above & Beyond – Thing Called Love, a track that we also supported in our radio show (BOTR #096). Reeling from this good news, a new announcement posted on the artist’s social Instagram reveals a fascinating contest for all budding aspiring producers.
Oliver Heldens, in fact, through his alias HI-LO, is collaborating with the Octopus Recordings label to promote a remix contest on his single “Athena.”
Oliver Helden fans will be able to transform “Athena” with their own sounds, hoping it will become one of the official remixes for a special pack to be released in March.
To participate, just follow a few simple rules:
You must join the Octopus Recordings Discord to download the base of “Athena,” within the chat room of Discord, competitors once completed the remix, you can send their work via SoundCloud link.
Entries will close on February 28, 2021. The winner will be announced on Sian’s Twitch channel on March 9, and a week later, the winner of the competition will see their work in the remix pack of “Athena,” out March 16.
