This 2025 brings lots of news, including a great joint venture between 1001Tracklists and Tomorrowland Music. These two giants of the music world are joining forces to launch 1001 Recordings, a brand-new record label.
The goal is clear: support a new generation of artists by promoting the music most loved by the global community and bringing together the best of today’s dance culture.
The first phase of the project will focus only on collaborative releases, turning each release into a real event. The debut single, “Take Me There”, by Sick Individuals, Matisse & Sadko, and Third Party, will be released on Friday, July 11. It’s set to become a milestone in the progressive genre, thanks to the big names behind it. Next, on July 18, the “B2U” EP by Dillon Francis and MARTEN HØRGER will drop, bringing explosive basslines and high-energy vibes.
The first two releases are connected to some of the most anticipated b2b sets of Tomorrowland 2025’s first weekend: Matisse & Sadko vs Third Party and Dillon Francis vs MARTEN HØRGER, both performing on the iconic stage of The Library.
With 1001Tracklists’ data analysis and Tomorrowland’s global reach, 1001 Recordings aims to mix community-driven music with stages that matter. More music is coming from artists like Rafael Cerato, Wave Wave, Matt Guy, and Volaris. And while there’s plenty of mainstage energy, the label is also gaining respect in the underground scene, with unreleased tracks already supported by Solomun, CamelPhat, and Adam Beyer.
Jacob Merlin, CMO of 1001Tracklists, says: “We want to give a voice to the artists our community already supports. Tomorrowland is the perfect partner to take that vision even further.”
