The year 2025 has just begun, and it’s already full of emotions. One of the biggest highlights is called Skrillex.
A few days ago, for his birthday (also celebrated on our social media), Sonny received birthday wishes on X from the Ultra Music Festival team. Skrillex quickly responded, writing: “See you in March.”
With all the excitement, since the 25th edition of Ultra Miami will take place at the end of March, it’s easy to imagine that Skrillex might be one of the names in the upcoming Phase 3 of the festival lineup Made In Miami.
Sonny is going through a period of change. We know this because some time ago, he posted a note on his social media inviting his fans to leave their email addresses and promising updates. His contract with Atlantic Records recently ended, which means he now has more freedom for new releases and events. However, this might also hint at one big final project with that major label.

All these clues suggest new music might be coming and lead us back to Miami, where, let’s not forget, he hasn’t performed since 2015.
The confirmation we were all waiting for didn’t take long: Sonny’s spoiler was confirmed with an update to the official Phase 2 lineup graphic. So, we didn’t even have to wait for Phase 3 because Skrillex will perform at this year’s Ultra Music Festival, and we at EDM Lab will be there to document everything live!
