#10TRACKS | Pop/Dance – April ’23

The first song in today’s #10TRACKS is the remake of a 1983 hit. Then, “Say Say Say” by Paul #10TRACKSMcCartney and Michael Jackson returns in a Tropical-House sound typical by Kygo. The Norwegian DJ keeps pushing this revival thread, which started with “Higher Love” by Whitney Houston in 2019.

 

 

The Dutch Bakermat is consistently among the most original producers. This time, he amazes us with “Good Feeling,” sung by the British Rhys Lewis.

 

AM: PM” is the newest song by the all-Swedish trio made by the producers’ duo NOTD and the singer-songwriter Maia Wright—pure Electro-House sound.

The voice is hidden among the credits, but it is unmistakable. “What It Feels Like” is produced by the German duo YouNotUs and the Austrian Toby Romeo.

From the soundtrack of the videogame “MLB The Show 23,” we listen to a posthumous production by Juice WRLD titled “The Light,” whose title is a bit lighter than the usual repertoire of the rapper.

Let’s close this #10TRACKS with the English rock band, Nothing But Thieves, known for their incursions in the #10TRACKSElectro-Pop genre. However, “Welcome to the DCC” reminds us of some hits by The Weeknd, almost a parody.
