Shouse‘s career is all about the debut single “Love Tonight,” released in December 2017, and followed by a low-key EP.
The track will soon reach 100 million plays on Spotify, both with the original version and various remixes, including the latest from David Guetta. The French DJ normalizes the work of the Australian duo, which they had called an anthemic weirdo-house. To understand what they mean, you have to watch the video of the original in which they launch into a parody of “We Are The World” (1985).
They were joined by cult indie artists from the Australian scene such as The Harpoons, Habits, and IO who sang in the verses and especially in the pathos-laden (even too much!) refrain.
We believe that Shouse can repeat the success of “Love Tonight” and we appreciated their ironic and irreverent approach to house music.
