“BREAK MY SOUL,” the new song by Beyoncé, is blowing up all the charts. It anticipates her seventh album, “Renaissance,” which will be available from the 29th of July. After a period between the R&B and the Afrobeat genre, now the Texan artist tries the 90s House Music. The track includes the “Show Me Love” sample by Robin S (1993) and the “Explode” vocal sample by Big Freedia (2014).
“BREAK MY SOUL” also contains a powerful message about “burnout,” a kind of extreme stress caused by work. The post-pandemic has emphasized it, with many resignations from work.
