The “new” world’s #1 DJ David Guetta (here the Top 100 DJ Mag 2025), despite the countless releases this year (we honestly lost count), doesn’t stop or take a break. In fact, he said he already has more than 50 tracks ready to be released.
So here we are again, talking about Friday’s releases with an ever-present name, the French DJ David Guetta.
This time, though, it’s a collaboration that doesn’t sound very Dance, at least not until a VIP version or a remix shows up, maybe one made by him. David Guetta teams up this time with one of the most beautiful Pop/Gospel voices of recent years, Teddy Swims, for Gone Gone Gone.
We first discovered Teddy with Lose Control back in 2023. His deep, powerful voice has been widely used by big DJs in mashups at major festivals (his song has reached over 2 billion streams on Spotify). Now, he joins the French DJ for this collab, also featuring Tones & I (the ones behind Dance Monkey).
In Gone Gone Gone, Teddy and Tones and I sing about the theme of “toxic love,” full of tension, contrasts, attachment, and even breakup. It plays with desire and emotional conflict.
Either way, this could easily become another worldwide hit for both Guetta and Teddy Swims, together with Tones and I.
