Both on the crest of the wave for releases this 2023, Calvin Harris and Sam Smith return to collaborate on Desire, which we had anticipated a few weeks ago.
The song, which was premiered at one of Calvin Harris’s breathtaking performances at Ibiza’s Ushuaia, is finally out and follows the Speed Up wave much in vogue lately. More importantly, it is a worthy follow-up to Miracle, a track sung by Ellie Goulding that became a hit. The flute featured in the drop, reminiscent of Eastern rhythms, is bound to stick in our heads, and we can’t wait to hear it remixed by the best names in the business.
Although Miracle already seemed like a summer hit, Calvin & Sam also secured a nice parachute with this Desire. They will surely equal – at least – the success they achieved with “Promises” in 2018.
