When we talk about Alesso, a sense of mystery always lingers, and thus, what you are about to read is merely the result of rumors and online chatter. Alesso might launch a new alias called BODY HI to release or play Deep House music.
Let’s start from the beginning: on March 2nd, the young Swede, who hasn’t released any records this 2024, writes on his X account that:

What does he refer to?
Just a few days ago, the Los Angeles Daily News published an article discussing the lineup of the upcoming Coachella. They have particularly highlighted a secondary stage called Do LaB. This stage, known for its interactivity with the audience, is also used to experiment with new musical paths. Plus, over the years, surprise performances have not been uncommon.
The lineup for this stage also includes BODY HI by Alesso, among the many exciting names. It remains to be seen whether this will mark the debut of a new alias or simply an experimental DJ set that might lean towards the Deep House sound, as mentioned earlier. Meanwhile, even in the poster published by Coachella Magazine, BODY HI by Alesso is listed in the lineup (here).
Many have tried to inquire about Alesso’s X account, but there has been no response. All we can do is wait for the dates of Coachella 2024, which this year will fall on the weekends of April 12/14 and 19/21.
EDIT: In a post on Instagram, Alesso announced that “BODY HI” will be the name of his label debuting on Friday 29th March alongside the release of the track Zig Zag. The meaning of this alias in the Coachella 2024 lineup remains to be understood.
