Martin Garrix never stops working. He recently proved it through the debut single of the new album by AREA 21 (we talked about it here). But, this time, his music is combined with the sport. Indeed, the young Dutch producer will be the star of the UEFA Euro 2020 (2021) anthem.
We already knew that Martin Garrix was selected as the official artist of the next European football tournament. However, nothing was known about the other official artists.
In the latest days, Martin Garrix announced that the UEFA Euro 2020 anthem is a collaboration with Bono and The Edge from U2. Therefore, two giants of music belonging to two different generations and music genres.
The UEFA Euro 2020 anthem is titled “We Are The People We’ve Been Waiting For.” The release date is 14 May, on the day of Martin Garrix’s birthday.
