After many events celebrating the most famous Trance radio show (A State of Trance), Utrecht sends Armin Van Buuren‘s event toward a new destination.
With over 1100 episodes, it is the most long-lasting EDM radio show ever, and every year, for the last ten years, its anniversary is celebrated with epic events held in Utrecht. In 2023, over 55 thousand people attended. Every ASOT event has always been SOLD OUT quickly, but recently there were rumors about some changes.
ASOT 1000, Armin rewrote history!
In the past few days, Armin Van Buuren announced some news related to the top event signed by Armada Music during a special live-streaming event. First of all, a new location: Rotterdam.
“A State Of Trance” will become a two days event that will include not only night performances but also masterclasses, Q&As, demo drops, and many more activities during the day. 5 stages and over 80 artists will make a unique experience for all Trance fans. Dates for ASOT2024 will be 23 and 24 February 2024 in Rotterdam.

“Utrecht has been an incredible place for the past years. We’ve all made countless memories there. I myself even went to my first rave in the Jaarbeurs venue back in 1993, and I’ve also hosted some of my Armin Only shows there. But unfortunately, they’re tearing down the iconic hall that housed our mainstage every year, so we’ve no choice but to look elsewhere. So I’m proud to say that we’re moving “A State of Trance” from Utrecht to… Rotterdam!
