Europe’s largest and most important festivals also include Sziget (here EDM Lab’s Definitive Guide to the Most Important Festivals of 2023). This year Sziget 2023 gets a total makeover, with one of the most diverse lineups in Europe.
Located on Hungary’s Obudai-sziget island in the middle of the Danube near Budapest, Sziget 2023 will take place Aug. 10-15. This year it will feature more than 40 venues, of which the two most prominent acts will be the TicketSwap Colosseum and the Samsung Party Arena. The former is a modern amphitheater with an exaggerated capacity, the latter a 10,000-seat marquee with impressive visual effects. Here, Techno and House vibes will rule at the hands of artists such as Tale Of Us, Adam Beyer, Diplo, Dixon, Sven Vath and many others.
There will be artists for all tastes. Prominent headliners will include David Guetta, Vintage Culture, Florence + The Machine, Imagine Dragons, Billie Eilish, Macklemore, Lorde and many more.
