Occurred in Venlo, Stereo Sunday was the first outdoor festival in The Nederlands since the pandemic. The event took place on 2-3 July 2021 at the Julianapark.
The festival went sold out, hosting about 20.000 people. The lineup included artists from a variety of styles, such as Lucas & Steve and Wildstylez.
No restrictions were in place during the Stereo Sunday. No masks or distancing. However, participants needed a negative COVID-test or their vaccination card to gain access to the park. In case of a positive test, the spectator received a complete ticket refund.
Also, in America, recently, we witnessed the birth of the first in-person event since March 2020. Is it finally time for festivals to return?
