We’re still talking about festivals in this hot Summer 2025, and we add another piece to our EDM Festival Guide 2025 by taking you to Greece.
Primer Music Festival, since 2018, is the most important Dance music festival in Greece and takes place in the majestic city of Athens. This year it promises an amazing weekend with big, top‑level names. In recent years, this festival earned a special spot in the world festival ranking, reaching #42 in the DJ Mag Top 100 Festivals.
On September 6 and 7, 2025, the new location chosen for the Primer Music Festival will be the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (OAKA). This place will host a new edition that promises to be the best ever, with more than 20 hours of DJ sets, spectacular visuals, and an outstanding lineup.
As announced, only top names starting with Purple Disco Machine, AMÉMÉ, ARTBAT, Armin Van Buuren, Alesso, Boris Brejcha and some local artists like Hi Profile, Afshin Momandi, and Kalamo. But that’s not all, because there will also be special shows by Faithless and Paul Kalkbrenner. Everything will be divided during the weekend into two stages called Helios and Lunar.
