For the second consecutive year, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, one of the world’s most popular music events, will not take place. The reason is always the same: the prolongation of the coronavirus emergency.
The festival should have taken place during two weekends in April. However, Riverside county’s sanitary authorities, the Californian administrative district of which is part also Indio, which is the city where, traditionally, the festival was held, have announced, grudgingly, the cancellation.
This news arrives after the cancellation of the historical Glastonbury Festival, which will not occur due to the same reason. After this news about Coachella, we have ahead of us another year of cancellations? Or will we see a glimmer? Meanwhile, other festivals, like the Electric Forest, seems to have been confirmed (here is our article).
EDITED on 21/03/2021: the 2021 edition of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, canceled from April and rescheduled to October, has been moved to April 2022.
