The recent milestones achieved by Martin Garrix & Bebe Rexha with “In The Name Of Love” (we talked about it here) and by Kygo & Selena Gomez with “It Ain’t Me” piqued our curiosity. This prompted us at EDM Lab to delve into and study the “Spotify’s One Billion Streams” Club, i.e., the list of songs that, on Spotify, have reached and exceeded the dizzying threshold of one billion listens.
We realized that the EDM tracks holding this record represents a considerable percentage of the entire list with not too much surprise. In fact, some of them became, not surprisingly, pillars of electronic pop and soundtracks to the lives of so many.
We have made a selection for you from what has emerged, choosing the ten that we consider the most representative, sorted according to the numbers totaled on Spotify.
