Some time ago, we told you about our new partnership with the extreme cycling brand Everesting. Our Fuel Your Performance playlist, available on Spotify, has been the soundtrack for Everesting athletes throughout the hot summer of 2026. Before summer comes to an end, however, there is one event we want to tell you about.
On September 26, 2026, Everesting returns to Sicily—more specifically, to Mount Etna, our home region.
Linguaglossa, which previously hosted an Everesting stage, will welcome the Everesting World Championship for the second consecutive year. Athletes from all over the world will compete on the roads of Mount Etna’s northern slope.

The format is the one that has made this challenge famous: repeatedly climbing the same ascent until accumulating 8,848 metres of elevation gain, the height of Mount Everest. Alongside the Full Everesting, several individual and team categories will be available, with starts scheduled for 4:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and a maximum time limit of 19 hours.
The race will start in the centre of Linguaglossa, while the athletes will make their way to Piano Provenzana, on the northern slope of Mount Etna, where the competition will take place. After the final ascent, they will return to the town for the finish line and celebrations.
But Everesting weekend will be about more than sport. The heart of Linguaglossa will host the Festival Village, featuring music—with EDM Lab’s DAAVE—food & drinks, partners and activities for the public, including the Everesting Kids Race. Among the event’s guests will be Vincenzo Nibali, the event’s ambassador.
A weekend where sport, the local area and music will come together at the foot of Mount Etna.
