The news had been in the air for some time, and now it is official: Tomorrowland—or rather, The Magic of Tomorrowland is returning to Shanghai.
Following the success of the inaugural edition, the event, organised by Tomorrowland together with Budweiser, Hero Esports and INS LAND, is preparing to expand to two days in the new version of the Hero Dome.
The lineup brings together some of the biggest names in the international electronic music scene. On October 17, Axwell, Lost Frequencies and Morten will take the stage, alongside Cassian b2b Kevin de Vries and Bhaskar. On October 18, the decks will be taken over by Tiësto, ARTBAT b2b R3HAB, Alison Wonderland, Miss Monique and Joel Corry.
The production will also play a central role: the Hero Dome will be transformed into a 360° immersive environment featuring a 99-metre curved LED screen and 80 ceiling screens, designed to create a visual spectacle inspired by an underwater world.
The experience will also include food offerings curated by Michelin-starred establishments, interactive activations and exclusive merchandise. GA+ ticket holders will additionally gain access to the new premium area, Harbour Villa.
Tickets start at ¥788 for one day and ¥1,488 for both days, while GA+ prices are ¥1,288 and ¥2,388 respectively.
