A new year means new projects. Right? Yes, just like every year. However, we noticed that the Ultimate Guide to 2021 Festivals by EDM Lab has been useful and appreciated. Therefore, we are ready to keep you up to date also this year with the 2022 road map of all the most important festivals all over the world.
The two previous years have been years of cancelations for the EDM community. 2022 will surely be the year in which we are ready to return to normality. During the end of 2021, some organizers have managed to bring us back in front of the stage. But now is really the moment to live the festival season as before. The expectations of fans are increasing because some organizers are making public the line-up.
So here is the Ultimate Guide for all the ravers who can’t wait to return to dance, jump and shout in the crowd. The music is ready to release its energy, it can flow through us, making us a single thing. Are you ready for the return of the festivals’ mass hysteria?
Ultra Music Festival | Scheduled

EDC is the largest American festival with UMF. This year might take place in four different appointments: two dates in the USA, one date in Central America, and the latest one, in Europe, was canceled. However, it will be replaced by Secret Project Festival Portugal (we talked about it HERE).

This is between the oldest festivals we can find in this guide. It takes place in a city that exists only for the duration of the event. The Burning Man is undoubtedly the most extreme festival among all, based on self-sufficiency and community concepts. Anyone can bring his art to the Burning Man.

The Sunburn is the most important electronic music festival in Asia, that was born after the EDM reaches its peak of diffusion in India. A report dated back in 2014 was ranked at the third place among the world’s biggest festivals immediately after Tomorrowland and UMF.

The Defqon.1 is the main festival dedicated to the Hard-Dance. It was born about twenty years ago, and it takes place every year in Holland, which is the home of the Hardstyle. It has also been exported in Australia and Chile. For the second consecutive year, unfortunately, the high BPM lovers will not participate in it.
