EXIT Festival Launches Global Tour

After twenty-five editions at the Petrovaradin Fortress, the EXIT Festival, one of the world’s most important, is radically changing its format.

Due to political pressure from Serbian authorities, which prevented the organization of the 2026 edition, EXIT has decided to turn the event into an EXIT Global Tour. The project will bring the festival’s energy to several international locations.

Founder and CEO Dušan Kovačević stated:

“After 25 years, it’s time to take off. Music is much more than entertainment, it’s a force that unites people and builds bridges. With the Global Tour, we want to connect continents and spread the spirit of freedom.”

The first tour dates were unveiled during the Amsterdam Dance Event, 50 meters above the ground at the spectacular Crane Faralda.

So in 2026, the EXIT Festival will go on tour, here are the first stops:

June – First stop in North Macedonia.
August – Double event in Malta, in collaboration with local promoter G7 Events.
October – A historic edition in Egypt: for the first time, EXIT will take place in front of the Pyramids of Giza. The partner for this edition is Venture Lifestyle, a promoter that has already hosted top names like Solomun, Peggy Gou, and Carl Cox.
November – Two stops in cities that never sleep: Mumbai (India), marking EXIT’s first appearance in Asia, and Belgrade, where the No Sleep Festival will become the continent’s biggest rave. Confirmed artists include Amelie Lens, Nina Kraviz, Bicep, Lee Burridge, and many more.

In Croatia, in Umag (Istria), the Sea Star Festival will take place in the Stella Maris lagoon. The 2026 edition will be the biggest ever, featuring names such as The Prodigy, Wu-Tang Clan, Paul Kalkbrenner, and Fatboy Slim.

More dates and the full lineup will be announced in the coming days.

With the Global Tour, EXIT confirms its role as a bridge between cultures and generations and opens a new chapter in the history of this iconic electronic music festival.
