IMS Dubai is gearing up for its highly anticipated second edition in collaboration with Beatport.
The IMS Dubai (International Music Summit Dubai) is an international conference dedicated to the world of electronic music, organized by Beatport and part of the IMS network already established in cities such as Ibiza and Los Angeles. It is an event dedicated to industry professionals, DJs, labels, and everything connected to nightlife.
This year, the initiative will be led by IMS co-founder and legendary BBC Radio 1 broadcaster Pete Tong, alongside Saudi-born, London-based DJ and presenter Nooriyah. Among the most anticipated guests are French DJ HUGEL, Lebanese-British techno queen Nicole Moudaber, the duo Bedouin (Tamer Malki and Rami Abousab), Egyptian producer Misty, Lebanese DJ Rolbac, as well as industry leaders such as Elie Saba (ADDMIND), Sofia Ilyas (The Beatport Group), Samer Jamal (Meta), and Jade (Factory People). The summit will also host the regional premiere of TAKKUK, the new film by Bicep.
The program will address key issues for the global and regional music industry: from a market focus on Lebanon to artificial intelligence in music production, diaspora identity, grassroots investment, the role of local festivals, the intersection of music and fashion, and the so-called “habibification” of house music. Also new is the launch of the MENA Women in Music mentorship program, dedicated to empowering female talent.
A second area will be dedicated to finance and technology, with panels on web3, gaming, and music production, while a networking floor will feature live DJ performances thanks to Mixmag UAE and Kiss FM.
Evening events will turn Dubai into a true clubbing hub, with highlights scheduled in iconic venues such as Monkey Bar, Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour, Surf Club, Be Beach, Reunion, and Helipad from November 12 to 16. With early bird tickets already sold out, IMS Dubai confirms itself as one of the most sought-after events of the year for the electronic scene in the SWANA region and beyond.
