Here we are again, as usual, one week later, just enough time to gather our thoughts and share our take on Tomorrowland 2026. Not that it needs our opinion, let’s be clear. Tomorrowland certainly doesn’t need us to praise it, but experiencing it from the inside is something truly incredible, and we wanted to tell you all about it here on EDM Lab.
If you’ve been following us on social media over the past few weeks, you’ve probably seen just how much magic Tomorrowland 2026 brought across both weekends. And that’s exactly what makes this festival so special. Unlike anything else in the world. Tomorrowland is unique. Tomorrowland is magical. You can feel it the moment you arrive in Belgium, where train stations, airports, and public spaces become part of the festival experience with dedicated activities for everyone arriving or leaving. Then there’s Boom, a small town in the middle of nowhere that somehow feels like it was designed specifically for Tomorrowland, supporting the festival in every possible way.
What were the 10 most Shazamed tracks at Tomorrowland 2026?
This year’s festival featured 16 stages, with the ultra-modern Freedom Stage standing out as one of the highlights. It hosted not only world-class DJs but also live performers and special guests, including Bebe Rexha, John Newman, and the Symphony of Unity. Other fan favorites included the massive Atmosphere tent, almost always fully packed, and the majestic The Great Library, home to many artists who have graced the Mainstage over the years before bringing their magic elsewhere this time around.
Then there’s the Crystal Garden, which turned out to be one of our biggest surprises. It’s an absolutely stunning stage built entirely on the water, featuring an incredible sound system. Legendary artists such as John Summit performed there. Among countless smaller stages like The Cave and the JBL House of Fortune, this year’s Mainstage stole the spotlight as it introduced the very first chapter of the Consciencia theme.
Grandeur and magnificence are the two words that immediately came to mind as we saw this stage in person for the very first time. Along with them came a few tears, especially for those who experienced the unfortunate events surrounding the 2025 edition. This breathtaking Mainstage featured six giant faces, each representing one of the six emotions, surrounded by a colossal architectural masterpiece complete with fountains, hundreds of laser lights, and spectacular visual effects. From every corner of De Schorre Park, the audience enjoyed unforgettable performances throughout both weekends, immersed in a show that only Tomorrowland knows how to deliver.
There’s no need to list every artist who performed on the world’s most iconic Holy Ground, but we can definitely say we witnessed unforgettable sets from Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Calvin Harris, Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas, and many more.
Tomorrowland has truly returned in all its glory, delivering what might well be the most beautiful edition in its 20-year history. More than 400,000 attendees from over 200 countries, DreamVille welcoming campers from around the globe, 16 stages, 850 artists, and more than 15,000 crew members, all spread across an area equivalent to 63 football fields.
Tomorrowland 2026 comes to an end after a record-breaking edition that will undoubtedly go down in history, arguably the biggest and best-produced edition of the post-pandemic era so far. Consciencia will now continue its journey in Thailand for Tomorrowland’s first-ever edition there, taking place from December 11 to 13 (more info), before making its way to Brazil at the end of 2027.
