Don Diablo\u2019s new record, which we also featured in our Best of Today #Release #369<\/a><\/em>, comes with a story that deserves to be told, because it still carries the kind of magic that only music can create.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Let\u2019s start with the track. Plain Jane<\/strong> is a 2017 hip-hop track by rapper FERG<\/a>, and you can listen to the original version here.<\/a><\/p>\n

The Don Diablo we know is a natural talent scout who loves to take<\/em> existing sounds and make them his own. He chose Plain Jane<\/strong> and created his own version to play during his tour in Saudi Arabia, a tour featuring high-profile guests such as Metro Boomin<\/em> and Quavo<\/em>. You get the idea of the sound we\u2019re talking about, right?<\/p>\n

But where is the news? As often happens, Don Diablo\u2019s edit of Plain Jane<\/strong><\/em> was not originally intended for an official release. It was created solely as an edit to play during live shows. However, thanks to the incredible response from the crowd, Don Diablo went back into the studio, perfected it and decided to release it.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are looking at a perfect blend of electronic and hip-hop sounds, and Don Diablo is no stranger to this kind of crossover. Do you remember \u201cGo Home with a Stranger\u201d<\/a> with Wiz Khalifa?<\/p>\n

All the signs suggest that Don Diablo\u2019s new album, FLUX<\/strong>, will feature a very similar sound, although there is still no release date for the project. In the meantime, let\u2019s enjoy this edit of \u201cPlain Jane\u201d.<\/p>\n
