The first release of the year from John Summit<\/a> arrives right on the heels of the announcement of his first-ever residency in Ibiza<\/a>, but this time it comes with a very different flavor compared to what we\u2019re used to.<\/p>\n

\"John<\/a>We also introduced it on our radio show Best of Today #Release #341<\/em><\/a>, and now it\u2019s time to talk about it in more depth. LIGHTS GO OUT<\/strong>, this is the name of John Summit\u2019s new track, sounds raw, fast, and packed with trap elements. Forget the smooth and emotional sound of Shiver<\/em><\/a> or Where You Are<\/em><\/a>: with this release, John Summit opens a brand-new musical era.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s not all. On social media, he has just announced that he will be releasing a new track “every other Wednesday<\/span>” until the completion of his new album<\/strong>. The <\/span>#funfact<\/strong> is that in his Instagram post, Summit explains the reason why he chose to release the track on a Wednesday instead of the traditional release day (Friday).<\/span><\/p>\n

“as a former accountant i know how much hump days suck so i decided im gonna release a new single every other wednesday til the album drops.. happy hump day fam \u270c\ufe0f”<\/em><\/p>\n

In short, to \u201cimprove\u201d Wednesdays\u2014which are usually kind of meh days<\/span>\u2014John Summit <\/a>decides to release new music<\/strong>. We\u2019re extremely curious to hear what other bombs the American DJ and producer is about to drop, and we\u2019ll try to feature them on our radio show as well.<\/p>\n

For now, LIGHTS GO OUT<\/strong> is definitely not disappointing at all, and we can\u2019t wait to see his closing act<\/em> at the upcoming Ultra Music Festival 2026 in Miami.<\/p>\n
