Remember DVBBS? That super bold duo that made us jump around ten years ago with tracks like TSUNAMI<\/a> is back on the scene with a totally different kind of song, featuring a very special guest and a beautiful story behind it. The track is called \u201cMove A Little Closer\u201d<\/b><\/span>, featuring the voice of Abi Flynn.<\/p>\n

It all started from an online connection: DVBBS<\/a> were immediately struck by Abi Flynn\u2019s deep, hypnotic voice, and also by her touching story of rising again after beating cancer<\/span>.<\/p>\n

From there, they started working on what today has become a real gem: a soulful, powerful, and euphoric track that already took over TikTok<\/b><\/span> with millions of views and over 4,000 sound uses<\/b><\/span>.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe moment I heard Abi\u2019s voice and learned her story, I knew she was special,\u201d said the duo. \u201cWe\u2019ve been working on this song since last spring, and knowing that thousands of people already call it their summer anthem is a huge reward.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

At the Escapade Festival<\/b><\/span> in Canada, DVBBS<\/a> flew her in from Europe for a live surprise<\/b><\/span> in front of 30,000 people: the first live performance of \u201cMove A Little Closer,\u201d welcomed with huge excitement by the crowd and followed by a beautiful afterparty.<\/p>\n

\u201cFlying across the world to perform with DVBBS was one of the top moments of my career,\u201d said Abi Flynn. \u201cI get messages every day from people telling me how much this song means to them. For me, as a cancer survivor, writing dance music is a form of healing.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We also featured \u201cMove A Little Closer\u201d in episode #312 of Best of Today #Release<\/a> \u2014 who knows, maybe we\u2019ll hear it again at Tomorrowland<\/b><\/span> in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n
