Let\u2019s go back in time with a track that needs no introduction.<\/p>\n

This is the debut single from Avicii\u2019s album \u2018True\u2019<\/strong>, which, as we all know, features vocals that have become an anthem by Aloe Blacc<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\"avicii<\/a>Wake Me Up<\/em>, which now has over 2.7 billion streams on Spotify alone, was one of the first examples where Tim mixed folk<\/em>, country<\/em>, and dance music<\/em> into one magical genre: the Avicii sound. In 2013, Wake Me Up<\/em> was the fastest-selling single in the UK with 267,000 copies<\/b>. In 2015, it became the most shazamed song ever, with over 20 million searches.<\/p>\n

It became a real Dance anthem and today it’s considered an evergreen track.<\/p>\n

Wake Me Up<\/em> by Avicii is also included in the posthumous album \u201cAvicii Forever\u201d<\/strong>, which we talked about here<\/a> some time ago. While we still dream about hearing new music from the late Avicii, we celebrate the anniversary of this Dance music milestone.<\/p>\n
