The new dates for Nameless <\/a>(with early tickets for 2025 already sold out!)<\/u> are out. This music festival took place last 14<\/strong>, 15<\/strong>, and 16<\/strong> June across Annone di Brianza, Molteno, and Bosisio Parini in the province of Lecco<\/strong>. We had the pleasure of fully experiencing the tenth edition of the event<\/strong>, which featured over 100 artists<\/strong> performing across 6 different stages<\/strong>, covering genres from techno<\/em> to pop, drum ‘n’ bass<\/em>, and many more.<\/p>\n

Here is our festival review<\/strong>, to relive together the best moments of this edition while discussing the criticisms, possible improvements, and hopes for the future of this commendable 100% made in Italy<\/em> initiative.<\/p>\n

Nameless 2024: Press Conference Highlights<\/strong><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a>‘Not the biggest festival in Italy, but the most beautiful!’ These were the opening words from Alberto Fumagalli<\/a>, the organizer of Nameless, at the press conference<\/strong> on June 12th, attended by journalists, industry professionals, and partners. This year’s innovations<\/strong> were presented at the event, from an amazing line-up to enhanced festival experiences, starting with free water<\/strong> and parking<\/strong> and moving to the elimination of tokens<\/strong>, replaced by digital payments. These simple improvements addressed some of the main gaps from previous editions. There were also numerous food partners, including Con Mollica o senza?<\/a> by Steven Basalari and Donato, Fratelli Beretta<\/a>, KebHouze<\/a>, and Il Giardino degli Dei<\/a> to name a few. This year, the Festival also received significant financial support from the Lombardy Region. However, it’s important to note that for over 10 years, thanks to its organization, Nameless has been the only independent festival in Italy<\/u>. As for the music, another new feature this edition was the festival stages, including the JD Stage<\/strong>, the Nameless Tent by Molinari<\/strong>, the Live Stage by Garnier Fructis<\/strong>, and the brand-new Red Bull Unforeseen<\/strong> and the Heineken Stage<\/strong> – where LOSTMYFAITH<\/a>, part of our editorial team, performed – with the Offline Experience<\/em>, an interesting initiative to raise awareness about moderating cellphone use. ‘Find me a place where it doesn’t rain, and we’ll move there!’ – quoting again the festival organizer, thus concluded the press conference, with hopes of staying dry throughout the weekend.<\/p>\n

A Line-Up That Satisfies All Musical Tastes<\/b><\/h3>\n

While Nameless is not exclusively an electronic music festival, we were pleasantly surprised by the highly diverse musical offering<\/strong>, catering to everyone from fans of major European festival sounds to Italian music and even so-called trash music. A fair compromise for such a large event, which saw the attendance of over 30,000 people per day<\/strong>. Among the standout names across the stages were Justice<\/a>, Alesso<\/a>, Steve Angello<\/a>, Deadmau5<\/a>, Hardwell<\/a>, Chase & Status<\/a>, DJ SNAKE<\/a>, Luca Agnelli<\/a>, Angelina Mango<\/a>, Eiffel 65<\/a>, Pino D\u2019Angi\u00f2<\/a>, Claptone<\/a>, and many others (it would be difficult to name them all, but we had already previewed everything in our pre-festival article<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Nameless 2024: DAY ONE<\/b><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a>Our first day began with a set from Alesso<\/a>, the Swedish record producer and DJ with Italian origins. His presence in Italy, for those who follow celebrity gossip, was also highlighted by his marriage proposal<\/strong> to Erin Michelle Cummins<\/a> by Lake Como, which she accepted. It wasn’t the only romantic episode, thanks to a playful Deadmau5<\/a> who shared an ‘indelible’ memory of his experience in Italy on his Instagram profile (see reference below). Returning to music, we found Alesso’s musical proposal truly interesting. From the set<\/strong> to the visuals<\/strong>, everything was crafted with dedication and attention to detail. In Alesso’s set, the unmissable ‘Under Control<\/a>‘, ‘The Rhythm Of The Night<\/a>‘, ‘Hypnotize<\/a>‘, and other hits were featured, including the unforgettable ‘If I Lose Myself<\/a>‘ mashed up with ‘One Last Time<\/a>‘ by Dubvision<\/a>. Surprisingly, the set also featured an unreleased track, ‘Never Going Home Tonight<\/strong>‘ in collaboration with David Guetta, which he played for the first time at EDC Mexico 2024 (watch the video HERE<\/a>). All tracks that lovers of our BOTR<\/a> (Best Of Today Release) have certainly listened to. The entire tracklist of the set is available on 1001 tracklist<\/strong> (review the tracklist HERE<\/a>). The day ended with sets from Luca Agnelli<\/strong> and Justice<\/strong>. Surprisingly, not a drop of rain fell, perhaps in preparation for day two, when ‘it rained for two’.<\/p>\n

Nameless 2024: DAY TWO<\/b><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a>Our second day was full of musical nuances, starting with the DJ set by Rudeejay<\/a>, followed by performances from Pino D\u2019Angi\u00f2<\/a> and Eiffel 65<\/a> to kick off the day. Unmissable were Kungs<\/a>, the French producer known for hits like ‘Clap Your Hands’ and ‘This Girl’, Kenya Grace<\/a>, Deadmau5 <\/a>(tracklist available on 1001 tracklist<\/a>), Claptone<\/a>, Chase & Status<\/a>, and Steve Angello<\/a>\u00a0(the latter three unfortunately interrupted by heavy rain). The JD stage<\/strong> particularly allowed us to appreciate even more the audio and visual performances, and not least, although much smaller, the Red Bull Unforeseen<\/strong>, meticulously detailed, with a high-quality sound system<\/strong> and graphics reminiscent of the style of the well-known Confession<\/a> by Tchami<\/a>. If the first day went well, the second was even better. The only downside was the rain and the unfortunate presence of mud, made even heavier by the long walks necessary to reach the parking lots at the end of the day.<\/p>\n

Nameless 2024: DAY THREE<\/b><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a>Starting the day with a set from our own LOSTMYFAITH<\/a> at the Heineken Stage<\/strong> (relive the experience HERE<\/a>), we concluded Nameless with an intense line-up, featuring performances by Merk & Kremont<\/a>, the Irish Jazzy<\/a>, an impressive BIZARRAP<\/a>, DJ SNAKE <\/a>(who debuted a new unreleased track), and Hardwell <\/a>(tracklist available on 1001 tracklist<\/a>). The latter surprised everyone with a great surprise: the appearance on stage of Maddix<\/a> to the tune of their collaboration ‘ACID’ with Luciana. In conclusion, a final moment dedicated to Nameless, set to the musical notes of the iconic ‘If I Lose Myself’ and amidst a fireworks display worthy of the end of such a memorable festival.<\/p>\n

Our Conclusions<\/b><\/h3>\n

Nameless was a rich and enjoyable experience<\/strong>, from the musical line-up and food areas to the organization and logistics. We noticed many improvements over previous editions, consistently following what was announced during the press conference. As music lovers, we fully appreciated the presence of all the artists, and the variety of Nameless fully convinced us, embracing anyone who is passionate about music<\/strong>. Despite the mud and rain, the only downsides to this experience, we feel proud to say that Nameless is a pride of Italy, as well as an example of courage and dedication.
