Even though for some, it’s a genre that is gradually fading away, we at EDM Lab have been and still are big fans of BigRoom<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

In 2023, we’ve once again gathered the best tracks of the genre in our playlist “WhoNeedsBigRoom<\/em><\/strong>” on Spotify (link<\/a>).<\/p>\n

With a deliberately provocative title, we rhetorically ask: who needs this sound? The answer is obvious: we do. And not only us…<\/p>\n

Therefore, for the last year, we’ve decided to give glory to this genre that between 2013 and 2014 changed the rules of the game. We discussed it in detail in our article on the 10 years of Martin Garrix’s “Animals.<\/a>” We’ve also shown that artists like Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike<\/strong>, masters of the BigRoom<\/em> genre, have decided over time to move away from these sounds (article<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

Ten years after its birth, we’re closing the cycle with the last mix, containing the best releases of 2023. The playlist will be archived from January 1, 2024.<\/p>\n
