Another milestone in the EDM world celebrates its tenth anniversary in 2023. This time is “This is What It Feels Like” by Armin Van Buuren and Trevor Guthrie’s turn.

It’s such a nostalgia thinking of how much we dreamt and jumped on this song. One of the most beautiful records in the EDM era was released precisely when the genre was at its peak. That was exactly when big festivals were every raver’s point of reference. This is What it Feels Like, which was the second extract from the album Intense, released in 2013, and was an incredible collection of 15 tracks, obviously released under the Armada label.
The iconic voice of Trevor Guthrie completed a quite dreamy and catchy sound. The original song was tied to a beautiful video where the two artists ran on desert roads on two American muscle cars. All of this is narrated as a mini-documentary that reveals some of the funniest backstories (check the link above).
Among the coolest remixes still played in big festivals is the one by W&W, an immensely powerful BigRoom music bomb. The knowledgeable and talented hands of David Guetta also remixed this song at the time (you can listen to it here).
