Steve Aoki, founder of Dim Mak Records, stated in a recent interview that he wants to be the first human being to be able to create music in space. “This is my dream, but I don’t just want to go up and down. I want to go into space for at least a couple of days.”
The experience that fueled the desire over the years was in 2019, when he along with 50 VIPs held zero-gravity DJ sets at the World Club Dome. Steve Aoki has been cultivating this interest since that day to succeed in such an arduous undertaking.
“I will be the first musician to make a song in space, this is a promise”.
